About us

Moon Tide sells premium special-edition books and subscriptions online. Trading name: Moon Tide. Owner: Olivia Antunes Guilherme. Address: 23 Norman Place, Leeds, LS8 2AW, United Kingdom. Email: hello@moontidebox.com. Moon Tide is run by a sole trader and is not registered for VAT.

Using our website

Please use our website lawfully and don't interfere with its security or operation. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary, subject to the law.

Our books

We take care to describe special finishes, artwork and formats accurately. Digital mock-ups and screen colours may look slightly different from the finished book. This doesn't affect your rights if goods are faulty, not as described or not of satisfactory quality.

Prices and payment

Our monthly subscription is £25.99 per book, plus delivery. Overstock editions are priced individually (currently £30). All charges are shown at checkout before you pay, and we accept the payment methods shown there, including card, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Orders

You place an order through checkout and we confirm it by email. Our contract with you is formed when we email to confirm that your order has been dispatched. If we can't fulfil an accepted order, we'll provide the remedy required by law.

Pre-orders

Some books are sold before stock reaches us. Each pre-order shows its expected dispatch or delivery timeframe before you buy, and we'll update you on significant delays. Your cancellation and refund rights are respected throughout.

Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are covered by our Subscription Terms & Cancellation Policy. New places open approximately every three months, subject to availability.

Shipping and returns

Please see our Shipping Policy and our Returns, Refunds & Damaged Books Policy. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have by law.

Intellectual property

The Moon Tide name and logo, our website content and our licensed artwork belong to their respective owners. Buying a book doesn't give you the right to copy its artwork or contents.

Your account

Please keep your login details secure and tell us if you think someone has accessed your account. The website may occasionally be unavailable; this doesn't remove your statutory rights.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Privacy and changes

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. We may update these terms; orders already placed are governed by the terms in place when you ordered unless lawfully changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
